The Ukrainian Association of Ferrous Metallurgy Enterprises (UkrMet) had been created in 1998 by decision of 23
Ukrainian mining & metallurgical enterprises, industrial unions and organizations as a non-profit NGO.
Nowadays UkrMet consists of 38 enterprises, industrial unionsand organizations of Mining & Metallurgical Complex (MMC)
of Ukraine.
The main goal of the Association is to protect and coordinate the activity of Ukrainian ferrous metallurgy enterprises
on domestic and international market, increase the efficiency of industry's activity and improve MMC's investing attractiveness.
